Have you ever wanted to play the piano?
 YOU CAN!!!

Yes, YOU can play the piano in an easy-to-understand way  using chords. And I can show you how!

I know you have wanted to play the piano or you wouldn’t even be on this webpage.

You don’t need to spend endless amounts of money ($$$) taking traditional piano lessons when you can purchase Piano Chords of Joy (3 DVDs & 3 Books) for the price of 8 to 10 music lessons. And after 8 to 10 traditional music lessons you probably still will not know anything about chords.

Here is how you can do it…

YOU CAN:

 SEE ME

SEE THE BOOK
 SEE YOUR KEYBOARD
 HEAR WHAT I SAY
 HEAR WHAT I PLAY

 BONUS:
YOU CAN DO IT RIGHT ALONG WITH ME

You will be able to hear if you are correct or not. Write notes in your own book to help you remember. DVD technology allows teaching segments to be split up into short tracks so you can easily and quickly repeat a lesson as often as you need to, wasting no time.

Almost everyone I’ve talked to tells me they have always wanted to be able to play the piano, but…

  • They never had the opportunity
  • They didn’t like traditional piano lessons
  • They felt like they failed at traditional piano lessons
  • They don’t have the time to spend hours every week practicing
  • They are too young to start
  • They are too old to start now
  • They never knew anyone who could show them how to do it

All you ever wanted was to be able to sit down at a piano and play a few songs and “soothe your soul.” You don’t necessarily have a desire to become a concert pianist.

Well, you can play the piano.
At age 12, after less than 6 months of traditional piano lessons, I learned to play the piano by playing each Sunday morning for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. It was as though I had a recital every single week.

Right away I notice a simple pattern of chords. I thought everyone who could play by chords knew everything I knew. After all, I was just beginning to learn. As time went by, I realized other pianists who played by chords didn’t know what I knew. If I could play a song in one key, I could transpose that song to any key on the piano. Other pianists and organists had difficulty with that.

I played the piano or organ for at least 3 or 4 services each week for many years and have used this system for over 40 years – and it STILL WORKS. This information will NOT “go out of style.” It will still be viable and correct and necessary to know 40 years from now.

At 15 years old, two young women in my church came to me and asked me to teach them how I played. They both had taken many years of traditional piano lessons and I felt very intimidated. I declined. They responded with the comment, “We know how to read notes. We want to play like you play.” People often came up and said, “We know ‘So-and-So’ plays well, but we like how you play.”

I don’t play so fancy that you cannot follow. I play simple, solid music with pizzazz and I can show you how to do the same thing.

See the page with TESTIMONIALS on it. They can tell you if I can teach you or not.

I am confident that you can learn to play from my DVDs and books. Also, if there is something wrong with the DVD or books, there is a complete product replacement guarantee. All you have to do is send the DVD or book back to me and I'll replace it.

Some of the benefits of Piano Chords of Joy I, II & III are:

  • You can learn at your own pace
  • You can practice and a teacher won’t hear your mistakes
  • You can practice on your own schedule
  • You select music YOU like – not what a piano teacher dictates
  • If you are satisfied, you have succeeded
  • You can develop your own style
  • No one will inhibit your own creativity
  • Understanding a few basics about chords can help you write your own music
  • Knowing the piano (as opposed to a guitar, for instance) can also help you write your own music

Remember, the best deal is to buy all three at once. Once you have learned everything, you can pass them on to your children or grandchildren.  My desire is to have one Piano Chords of Joy series in every home, church, school, and studio.

People learn in different ways. One person may start at the beginning and never look ahead. To some, it might scare them to see what is coming. On the other hand, I would look at and listen to all 3 DVDs to see what I had to look forward to. In fact, there are some easier things in the 3rd DVD that you can start to do when learning the basics in the 1st DVD. I try to give you as many tricks of the trade as I could fit into each DVD of well over an hour each, trying not to repeat things unless it is needed for emphasis or for a reminder. Therefore, it is almost all new material.

Another point, I teach all the BASICS in PCOJ I in one (1) key – the Key of C – because it is considered the easiest with no sharps or flats. In PCOJ II,  I teach you the keys in a certain order – and if you will learn them in the order I give you, you only have to learn one (1) new chord for each new key. I tell you what to do so you will retain the information and never lose it. In PCOJ  III, I show you many tricks and ways to make your music sound even better.

I’ve been asked many times who my target audience is. Well, I think it is everyone except babies. They will only listen when they are too little to count to 8 and say the alphabet to the letter G. So, in other words, YOU are my target.

  • Children because they love to learn and are not afraid to experiment – if they can count to 8 and say the alphabet for the 1st 7 letters, they can start with me
  • Young people because they love to form bands and singing groups. It also helped me through my teenage years – emotionally. If they play a guitar, they will easily learn the piano chords
  • Adults because they “always wanted to be able to play the piano” or like one man told me – he wants to practice secretly and all of a sudden play a song in front of his wife and son
  • Senior citizens because they always wanted to play and it will give them a challenge and they can hand it down to their children and grandchildren
  • Someone who has never taken a lesson in their life – I can show them the basics quickly and they can move on from there
  • Someone who had a few lessons – to help them have confidence while they play
  • Someone who had LOTS of lessons – these are the best ones of all. They can play notes beautifully but often don’t understand the “differences” in playing with chords – why – how – what – where. Once they learn my method, they can DO IT ALL!

I believe my theory is different. When I was approximately 14 years old, I met a young man who confidently played by chords. I asked him if he had a theory for playing  chords. He said, “Yes.” I asked him what the 1st chord in the Key of C was. He told me. I asked him what the second chord was. He told me – but it was different than my theory. I didn’t ask him anymore and he probably assumed I agreed with him. After that, I didn’t ask anyone about their theory. I didn’t want to mess up my simple theory. Only since I have finished writing the books and producing the DVDs have I asked other people about their theories. They are all the same – and different from mine. They all had some traditional lessons and they all had the other theory. Mine is different. Mine seems so easy to me. I know you will be able to understand what I say and be able to play the piano right along with me.

Hurry and order your set while supplies last.

It isn’t necessary to have an expensive piano or keyboard. If you purchase a keyboard, be certain you have at least 4 or 5 octaves so you can practice the chords properly.

You can learn as quickly as you have the desire to do so. The only thing stopping you at this point is YOU. So, let’s get started. I’ll walk you through each step with demonstrations. YOU CAN DO IT!
